It's been 1 week and 1 day since we put A and C into toddler beds. They have taken a nap during the day in their new beds a total of 2 times. They have woken up in the mornings at 6:00 am instead of 7:30 like they did when they were in the cribs. They have pulled all the clothing out of their dresser twice!
Obviously, momma is having a harder time at this transition than they are. I have significantly less time during the day to get on the computer than I did before. I am screaming inside for a few moments of peace.
One good thing I guess is that they go to bed earlier...but boy are they cranky little beasts right before dinner.
I tried to put the girls into "big girl undies" last week. We went all week with Adrienne and she kept right on doing her business in her panties. There was absolutely no connection or whatever you call it to clue her in to tell me she had to go. I never did get her to sit on the potty and go. I tried several times and as soon as I let her up....she up and went on the floor.
Camryn totally balked on day 2. I really did not want to force her so out came the diapers pronto. I need to learn the fine art of wiping them while standing. She did get a really bad diaper rash after she pooped in her panties. Poor girl....weary mommy.
