Answered Prayer

Yesterday was the first MOPS (Mothers of preschoolers) meeting of the year 2005-2006. I have been looking forward to this all summer. I really missed getting together with friends.

I dropped the girls off in the 2 year old class room and headed to the meeting. I had just walked in the door when I turned around and saw my friend Pam from college. I had not seen her in almost 3 years. The last time I ran into her was at a Christmas Eve service in 2001. I knew she had infant twin daughters at the time. I had been thinking about her alot since I had the girls and had no way to get in contact with her. I had been praying that God would connect us again. She had no way of knowing that I had twin girls also. That was fun to tell her!

I was so excited to see she is going to be in our MOPS group this year!!!! Her girls are now 4 and going to preschool. I can't wait to see if our friendship can renew itself. I am just so happy that God heard my longing to get in touch with her again and found a way for us to meet up.
