Disney Live!

I got discount tickets to see Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix. I decided that the girls were old enough and they would probably enjoy seeing the show. We got group rates through the DSMOM twins club. I took my mom with us for an extra set of hands.

It was a blast! I had more fun watching them watch the show. They sat totally still and were mesmerised by the story. It was about a surprise birthday party for Pooh. The girls just love the idea of birthdays and presents. I did not even know what the story line was when I purchased the tickets.

This was a new show out by Disney and I would recommend it heartily. It was great to watch and the computer graphics, stage, music and actors were top notch. All the other people sitting around us were commenting on how wonderful the staging was as well.

Afterwards my mom took us out to lunch at Red Lobster. Yum yum. The shrimp scampi was delicious! The girls did very well in the restaurant...of course they do get plenty of practice. :) It was fun spending time just the four of us "girls" together. We will have to make this a yearly tradition!
