Are those "my" kids?

A long time ago I used to see parents with toddlers that were acting up and I used to think to myself....my kids will not act that way especially in public. For you see I somehow knew that I could parent my children better. There is just no way that mine would throw a tantrum, scream and yell and roll on the floor.

Flash forward to this past week....Camryn is throwing fits, screaming and yelling, crying....ugh!!! The worst part is the people that stare at you and give you dirty looks. Bless the parents who give you sympathetic looks...they have been there done that with theirs and totally understand. Yesterday at Home Depot Camryn rolled around on the floor and somehow got her shirt off!

Both Luis and I are hoping that this behavior will correct itself sooner than later! I really think Camryn gets upset and since her vocabulary is limited she uses the physical behavior to act out. I hope that by the end of the year we will be mostly through with this. Miss Cam has a hard time transitioning from one activity to another. She also wants to do everything that Adrienne does and vice versua. They can get really jealous of each other. Everthing has to be even.

I really do miss the days when the girls sat in their stroller and enjoyed the scenery as we ran errands and wandered the mall at our leisure. I must have gotten lulled into the idea then that surely my children would not make such a fuss....they were used to going out and about! How naive I was and am! My still sweet children are teaching mommy that they have boundaries and limits too.
