In shreds...

The girls are 2.5 and are at the stage where they can not tolerate sitting in a grocery cart or stroller for very long periods of time.

Today at Costco, I let Adrienne out of the cart because she started whining and crying to be let out. Now ordinarily she does ok out walking and holding my hand. Camryn on the other hand does not listen and is generally very rowdy when allowed to walk around. So, when I let Adrienne down, Camryn wanted down also....I knew that trouble was coming! Luis was with me and I thought ok...atleast I have help ;)

They egg each other on....and the behavior escalates!!!! Camryn started climbing the boxes and crawling on the floor underneath the clothing. Of course Adrienne joins right in! We finally caught Camryn and put her back in the cart.....she was screaming and crying. Of course every person that walks by has to look at her and us. It just shreds my emotions and my patience. I tell you I really wanted to turn her bottom a few shades of purple....but it would be of no use in many ways.

I just feel wrung out right now....Please let this be just a stage! They are so cute but so emotional and clingy!
