Saturday we took the girls to the Tempe Town Lake to see the Healing Field, a memorial for the vicitims who perished on 9/11/01. Each flag represents a person and their life. I have a hard time trying to comprehend 3,000 of anything. This was a very meaningful visual aid.

I saw that on the news last night. Like you, I can't imagine 3,000 of anything. Such a sad day in US history.
BTW, I love the picture of the girls running around the flag. It's kinda symbolic of how life goes on...
