Are these the same kids?

In a recent post I was whining about my girls behavior. They were acting atrociously.

This week they are little angels! What happened? The only thing I can think of is that we have given them more freedom to roam. They are liking their new found independence. Yet there are times when only "mommy" can do anything for them....yikes....poor dh get so frustrated when they do this to him!

I decided to start wrapping presents on Thursday morning. I spent the majority of the day in between snacks, lunch and a hair cut (for them), getting all the presents taken care of. The girls played nearby and loved helping me get the tape and putting the finished gifts under the tree. Yep, I went for it and put them under. Believe it or not they did not touch them at all!!!!

They love hanging out by the tree and each day they move their special Dora ornaments around. I never know exactly where they are going to be on the tree when I look. Camryn has gotten really attached to the dog and cat ornaments and loves to group them all together on one branch.

I am so relieved that they are being normal happy children and not little destructive hellions. I can't wait until Sunday to see them open their presents. They don't have a clue. This is so exciting! Only 1 day left.....and counting....lol
