 Miss A chose pink and purple bands

 Miss C chose pink and green bands

They both had braces put on today.  After waiting almost 6 weeks...today was the day.

The girls were very excited right up until the morning they were to go on...then they were scared.

The actual putting on of the braces was okay....just the new feel of metal in thier mouths and pressure on their teeth threw them for a loop. I wore braces in the past and tried to warn them about what was coming....there are just some things you can't prepare them for.  They are young though and will adjust.

I am so amazed at how different they look in them.  This phase will last 6-9 months and then we have a long break for 2-3 years before they put on a full set.

See the frozen yogurt....thier orthodontist gives it to them after their appointment to soothe the teeth and the nerves.  I had a small taste and it is pretty good.
