Being Pleasant

Today I had the girls at the mall and we were walking along doing our own thing when we stopped at the fountain. There was a tiny little girl and her mom that walked up right as we did. She was a cutie pie and said "hi" to my girls. My girls just stood there and said nothing to her. I prompted Adrienne to return the pleasantry back to her, she disobeyed me and Camryn hid behind me and growled.

I was so mad at my two that we skipped going into the Disney store as punishment for not talking to the little girl....she was probably 2 at the most.

As we continued walking Adrienne was very obstinate that she did not want to talk to that little girl. I told her that it was not about being friends with her but being pleasant to people around us. I also told both girls there are times you have to do things you don't want to do because it is the right thing and not be rude.

I just don't know.....my girls can be so sweet sometimes and the next rude. Oy Vey!
