I took Camryn for a follow up appointment to the audiologist at Banner Desert. Dr. Gail is so nice and talked us through every step of the process.
She was the doc who did her intial screening in January and encouraged me to get her ears taken care of sooner than later. It was nice to have her re-screen miss Camryn. She can hear with no problems. I am so relieved and happy.
At her 1st screening in January the doctor had to increase the sound up to 20 and 30 decibles in her ears in order for her to hear. Today she could hear at 5 and 10 decibles! Just amazing how putting the tubes in and getting rid of all the gunky fluid out of her ears has helped.
Now if only I could figure out how to get her and Adrienne past this phase of selective toddler listening. Dr. Gail laughed at that one and she said when her son was the same age she tested his hearing several times too. Please let this go by quickly!!!!

When you figure out the selective toddler listening thing, let me know, ok? Glad to "hear" everything is going good! Two of my boys had tubes and it's amazing the difference!
