Organization bug...

The organization bug has really hit this home! I am so happy.

This weekend it rained after "only" 143 days here in AZ. We spent the time re-arranging furniture to make our home flow better and have better use of the space we have. We moved the entertainment center, tv, couch and chairs into the main living room. Then we moved the desk from one of the extra bedrooms into the place where the tv was. Now I have the computer in the main area in the home and I can keep a much better eye on the girls than I did before. We also re-organized our closet space. I wish I had taken a before picture because it looks so much better now and I can put all the clothing away very easily!!!! Wooo Hooo.....before I was stuffing stuff away to make it fit...lol.

We moved the furniture on the advice of my organizer, it really was a big help to have someone with a fresh pair of eyes look at our living space. The next thing I am working on is the girls toys. They have too many available to them and they drop and leave them on the floor all over the house. We are so tired of walking around toys during the day.

I also have a ton of stuff to label and price as I am going to sell some items at a friends garage sale on the 25th. I need to keep pushing forward. The end of all this mess is very near, of course then we will start working on getting the walls painted....but that is the fun part.

On the plus side of getting all this stuff done....I am probably not going to need the organizer after this week....more money saved so I can get a new dresser and headboard for our bedroom. I am still lobbying for a new couch as well.
